FCC seeks interference proof from KUVM-LD

Back in November, Mako Communications applied to move KUVM-LD’s physical signal from channel 40 to channel 14, citing interference from KUBE-TV, which broadcasts on channel 41.

Now the FCC is asking Mako to prove it.

In a letter to the station dated March 11, the FCC is asking Mako to amend their application to show that KUVM-LD is actually receiving interference from KUBE. Mako must submit this filing by April 10.

  1. Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that happen before. Good for the FCC, I say.
